    Wink AutoLoc™ Flame Thrower Kit

I was just on YouTube and I came across this Flame Thrower, thought it was pretty tough looking. It sits in your exhaust and comes with a switch. burns off unburnt fuel. Have a look and tell me what you think. Would this be legal In Aus?

Link: YouTube - AutoLoc? Flame Thrower Kit in Action! Only Goes for 5sec!

This flamethrower mounts in the exhaust pipes, and shoots out flames up to 20 feet back. The activation solenoid has a safety switch, and it comes in a single tip model for $130USD, and a dual tip for $200USD. For "offroad use only.

    The Company that sells them:

The Hoffman Group - Search Results for flame thrower

    According to The Hoffman Group:
"The kit is designed to burn unburnt fuel from your engine but it can easily be changed to burn NOS or Propane."

My brother in law had one on his VP . they don't work too good . You have to knock the guts out of your Cat and have the motor running pretty rich to get them to work .

wouldnt have been a flamethrower kit, rotarys, with a combo of a freeflowing zorst, weber carby and porting, will belch out 4 foot flames all day,my old bridgeport rx7 was terrible for it.....had to put a big droopy tip on the zorst coz I set my rear bar alight once.....

Personally, I think the wank factor is pretty high. I saw a video a while ago on youtube of somebody with a vr/vs ute with the kit installed. If you do a search I'm sure you could find it

hmm. if you were to make the switch also cut the wire to your 02 sensor. you could probably get some pretty huge flames.

but also have a huge petrol bill for no real reason. i reckon its not worth it at all.

maybe on a track car. or a paddock basher

I've heard of a dodgy way of doing it, involves a sparkplug mounted in the exhaust pipe..
