Just wondered if anyone knows who makes this kit car body which fits on an old Rodeo chassis.
I took the pics at the 2007 Rockhampton swap meet...it was fitted to a long wheelbase early Rodeo chassis. The reason it caught our attention was that we own a 1982 Rodeo...and to be blunt, the mechanicals and chassis are great, but the body is in one peice only because all the rust molecules are holding hands...
Looks like it might be interesting and a solution to breathe a bit more life for what has been a useful and faithful old ute...
So anyone have any ideas?
looks like someones just bought a fibreglass ute body and put it on themselves. (check out the hotrod magazines, theres heaps of places that do the bodies, maybe a few places that do kits)
Off post, I realise, but have a look at those wheels - how many different stud patterns do they fit?
That is actually really quite cool.

Nice kit, shame about the 4 banger under the hood.
I noticed that with the wheels as well...
As for the four banger...I figure we could keep the practicality of our super reliable old Rodeo and have something that looks different...that little engine just keeps on going and going and going...in fact, it hasn't had an oil change in...ahem...two and a half years of heavy use...![]()
But I think I've seen people stick 253's in those old rodeos......and 253's are cheap as chips these days!!!
Would be cool as if you made it happen. But would it be practical to use as a ute anymore?
