    Default VYII headlight size

I've done a quick search as I'm sure this must have been covered but found nothing. I just wanted to know what the bulb sizes for a VYII berlina were. I'm pretty sure they're h3 and h4 but don't know which is for high beam and low beam. I am looking into getting some better bulbs but only for the low beams. Dont want to buy the wrong ones.

Thanks man. Lol i already bought them just hoping I ordered the right size.
    I got some 4500k 60-55w H4's and some 4500k 100w H1's nice and cheap. Should I do spotties too?

There is no way you will get a true 4500k from a filament globe, phillips diamond vision is the closest you will get to 4000k

But it will look better to look at, they may not increase your lighting output to the eye much

If you run 100w globes in the H1 highs id add an extra relay or at least check the wire sizing to the globe, it may be a tad small

I was kinda sceptic about the 4500k but for the price i got em for it doesn't matter. If I don't like them I'll just put the stock ones in.

I was a bit worried about the 100w. Can i just get a relay from supercheap or repco? I don't know much about this sorta thing either so what type of relay should i get and where would it go?

Just went to double check the sizes and unfortunately for me they are h11's and h9's. I've already sent the money through too so hopefully I can get it back

I didn't think it did but now that you've mentioned it. It does have the glass ball light thingy. They are also different to exec lights so now I think they are projectors.

If your car has the owneer's handbook, the type of globes required is spelt out in there. Berlinas and Calais have the projector headlamps, lower spec models have the standard lights.

You should be able to offload the globes without a problem.

Yeah, I went out and checked under the bonnet and had a look on the light itself. It's stamped on the top.

If I can't cancel the order and get my money back, anyone want some H4 and H1 bulbs cheap?

Even if you're putting a bigger relay on the headlights i'd be a touch worried about the heat produced - might it warp the headlight?

That's what I thought too. I bought some phillips crystal visions for low beam and some el cheapo ones for high beam in the right size this time. Should look good when I get them sorted.
