hey folks

when removing the dash i came accross removing the air con control switches, i tryed to wedge them thru the small gap, and i broke the control for the hot/cold switch.

it seems to be connected to a very small wire with a thread on the end.

my question is, can the control panel with the switches be replaced with the dash in ? or does the dash need to come out ?

if i get another set of controlls how do i know how many turns onto the thread it needs to go ?

anyone been in a similar sanario or replaced the air con switches ???
