i have a 91 vn. it was running fine today but when i turned it off it didnt want to start up again it will turn over but it sounds like there is no fuel getting to the motor can any1 help.
Could be several things.
Check that theres spark by pulling a lead off and chuckin a screwdriver in the end, hold it to the body and get someone to crank it.
If theres spark then it might be ur fuel pump so check that its gettin fuel by taking a plug out, you should be able to smell it.
Yeah check for spark first. My vn died the other day first thing i did was an error code check (you should always carry a bit of wire or paperclip really help diagnose problems) anyways mine spat out 41 code which is cas so a new cas in and its a new car. Also swapped the old coil packs and dfi for a later model one no more miss on idle or under load.
