I have a 1993 VP Commodore. I bought it for $1500 about 1 year ago and since then have had to spend $4500 of repairs on it. I replaced the starter motor 3 days ago, and now it is broken again. Do you think I should keep repairing this car and save for 2 years for a VE SS or should I buy another commodore now for around $10k?
You can buy mine, no issue with it LOL, just gotta come down to Perth to pick it up. Just kiddin'
It sucks with cars. My first car the VN NEVER had an issue. my second a shitty Ford EL; spent 5000 in repairs. My 3rd car the VX only ever had one issue in 4 years of ownership, great car. My WK is only 4 weeks old (to me) and has a steering shake (getting looked at on Monday).
You never know when you buy a car... I'd say upgrade the VP yet then again, you could get another lemon
I know a guy with a VP and one of the Adveteras (spellin'?) he love the VP and its always run great. He was going to trade the VP when he got the Adventera but he decided to keep it (emotional attachment).
Not a bad time to buy a car atm, could pick up something pretty good for 10k. It just depends what you want to do yourself. Do you want a ve ss or not?
