Your suggestions?

I was hoping to get people's opinions on what brands of oil, filters and plugs people recommend for a 308 black motor (stock).

I've never owned one before and I know which brands I like for my VL 3L (GTX2 for oil, Ryco for filters and NGK for plugs) but would like other opinions on what's best to use in/on the 308 in my VK.

Oils - you can't go past Penrite. HPR15 is a fantastic SM grade oil - best value for money out. Stay away from GTX2 - it's the sludgemaster

Plugs - standard Bosch or NGK are fine.

Filters - Ryco is fine

Depending on what state your in, i go to Parts Boys at Surrey Downs / Elizabeth in SA for all parts for my car, they have awesome prices and know alot about their products they sell so its a win win situation i trust em wid my car cos they do a good job
