Budget Direct - should I or shouldnt I?

Ive heard of 1 person having trouble with them but other than that, are they worth looking at?
Car is a standard VXII SS Manual with a spotless driving record.
are they worth the risk or should i look elsewhere and fork out double of what they are asking?

What have you heard? Who's to say the person in question wouldn't have trouble with any other insurer depending on the circumstances. I tried Budget Direct for a quote once or twice before. They were a bit cheaper but won't insure for an agreed value.
