Personally I would go for the custom made exhaust....

After shipping cost or fuel to get the egay one it wouldnt work out much cheaper.

also a custom exhaust will be a custom fit.

Just a quick note... thread name... could be considered offensive using the term "gay" in a derogatory manner.

I got a warning for a similar play on words in a great about gauges... just a friendly heads up.

in terms of the exhaust... you get what you pay for... so if you get that its going to sounds and last like a 76 dollar exhaust... thats my opinion anyway

    Good luck

Is the $350 job stainless ? it sounds fairly cheap, but always get a few quotes.

If you were prepared to drive to Dandenong, I could hook you up with a Redback system fairly cheap.

Oh, and just my friendly opinion, where standard cars are concerned there isn't really such thing as a 'custom' exhaust, just a fabricated one. Unless you want it to go in a difference place than the factory one, but all exhausts pretty much line up with the standard hangers and are of a very similar shape, the only difference is mixing mufflers.

I got mine off ebay awhile back, costed $180 sent to my door, 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust single muffler brand is Rage, i'm pretty happy with it with pacemakers and being a manual it has its own sound, doesnt sound like every other crappy commodore getting around with cannons or something
