Will the sound difference be noticable?

You can pick up cat backs for under $200 from Scott's Rods (free plug, thanks for looking after me, scotty lol) he sells through eBay.

But straight through pipes are for race cars.

I had a set of Pacemaker extractors into a single 2.5" cat back on my old VP V6, cept if you want to do it cheap, then forget the Pacemaker extractors, they are worth around $600 - $700 for the V6 ones. Sounded ok as far as V6's go. Opening them up heaps sound wise with straight pipe or hot dogs makes them sound awful. Really tinny and screamy. Sounds feral.

Keep them sort of semi loud but muffled. That's about as good as you get with a V6.
