How much lower is the FEII suspension as compared to standard VZ suspension? Also are the springs interchangeable between all VC thru to VZ commodores and utes?
Cheers, Big Al
dont quote me on this, but i think its called fe2 because its 2" lower then standard... Also, springs are NOT all interchangeable. It depends on the car, wheather it is Live Axel, or IRS, most likly other things,
On a really rough guide, VT/VX/VY/VZ are interchangable, VN/VP, then VR/VS
not really sure about older ones
it can't be 2 inches lower can it ? that sounds like a lot. If you are right tho then i want FE2 in my acclaim. Did they make FE2 for IRS VS?
It's 1" to 1 1/2" lower than standard.
Harder spring/damper rate and also thicker sway bars as well...
FE2, is Factory Equivilent level 2... 1-1.5" lower, generally a little stiffer aswell for a better ride.
speaking of fe2, does anyone want some fe2 springs out of a vz??? pm if interested
i thought fe2 suspension was 20mm lower??
20mm is roughly 1", give to take 5.4mm
