Tought Id make a thread on whats the best deals you got on a car. My mate just picked up a Manual Silvia for $500. The owner at the time was saying it needed a new alternator and Brake lines. Once inspecting the car found out all it needed was Brake Fluid and a new batter since there was no brake fluid in the car. LoLz So far the best deal Ive found on a car.

03 BA Fairmont for $12650 - in 2006 (car yard price was $21500 for the same car)
01 VX II SS Manual & leather for $5000 - end of last year (Insured for $16600 - market)
00 VT II Police pack (Ambo squad) in 2005 for $6700 - nothing needed for RWC - car yard priced at $13500 for same car/same Kms.
plus the shitters like the $200 Celica, $400 XF pano etc.

There's one down the road from me at a dealership going for $29,990 from memory - auto, and I think has a few more kms on it, but still a killer price.

WK Stato currently selling at Holden dealer for $17,800. Probably a V6, the ad doesn't specify, but that's a lot of car for the money. Less than VZ Calais price.

Theres a WM Statesman for sale about 60,000km for $28k. From a HOLDEN yard in WA! Probably sold by now.
