I average around 60,000km per year which is very high. Average is around 18,000 per year but it does vary a lot depending if you live in urban or rural areas. 1000km per month sounds pretty close to average to me.

Few years ago I'd do about 50,000 per year, these days I do less discretionary driving and I'm down to about 20,000.

Going by what I've done so far in this car, I'd get around 30-35,000/year. Will drop if I get a company car in future, nearly half of my K's are getting to and from work.

i do about 50K a yr and spend about $120 per wk in fuel. Mainly to/from work so i can deduct a bit of that by limiting work-related errands to before and after work so that i can claim the whole trip. (about 50Kms each way).

Was doing a 1000 a week going to tafe alone, then normally another 1000 on the weekend. The VT clocked up just under 40 thousand, and The VK clocked up not even 300 km's in its first year of rego, but has done 2000 since Dec.

Reaper, thats a lot of driving! I'm doing about 40,000kms a year when working on the SS. I'll go back to uni mid this year and it will half. Cars don't really last long when you do more than 20k per year.

I'm back to uni now, so my trips incraese, do an extra 150km a week now. I only go there 3 times a week. 50km round trip. Although i've been driving a lot less in the VY compared to my old VR. My new car i've had since September and including the trip back down to Melbourne only done 7000-8000km! But i'm writing off more than half of that driving on tax!

According to statistics 20,000km is the average for a driver in a year. I dont see how it's this high! :S
