    Default Interchangable Rear muffler?

    Hey guys,

I have a 2.5" cat back exhaust, with the centre muffer and rear resi. I have read around here that some people drop the rear resi for cruises etc. Is it possible an exhaust shop could make up a rear section that is just a bit of pipe that i can bolt on and off in the same spot as where the rear resi is bolted on? Or do people just drop the rear resi and leave the exhaust stopping at around the diff and put it back on later..

In theory anything's possible. You can cut the exhaust wherever you want, and weld a couple of flanges in that you can bolt on/off. They can also make up a blank section of exhaust you can bolt on where the muffler would have gone, so you can still dump past the bumper if you so wish. It shouldn't be TOO expensive either.
