    Default EBAY seat re-trims????

Hey everyone, theres a place on ebay, under Car, patrs, trim ect, (i don't know how to post the link up here sorry) they sell re-trims for your seats made from re-born leather, my question is, has anyone ever brought or seen someone who has these (these arent leather seat covers, there an actual re-trim) i've seen the pictures of cars fited with them on thier link, and they look really good. They say you remove your old trim, and then fit the new one, say;s it comes with instructions on how to do so, but i dont quite understad how the trim would go tightly into each little crease/insert on the seats, without having to be sown in thier. They have mostly positive feedback, apart from a few people who bagged them out after tying to fit the trim straight over the top of thier old one but for $690 delivered, they'll give you front and rear trim plus they will do all 4 door cards aswell included in this price. Basically i dont want to shelf out $700 and they turn out to be shit. Anyone with info on this who could help would be great. I've sent them an email a few days ago, but i'm still waiting on a reply about fitting porcedures

According to what i have read on the subject leatherette is mainly made from a plastic based product whereas reborn leather is actually made by using REAL leather!

I'm getting my Ute done in a few weeks time in black with gold stitching but going to get him to fit it as its a real pig to do it yourself.

well it's deciden then, i'll get the trim, you mention you got the guy to do it for you, are you talking about the guy who sells them on ebay, how did you get your seats to him, and how much did he charge you? are you getting your door trims done aswell.. $100 for all 4 is what he say's, i was once quoted $400 for just the two front door trim inserts on a VWpolo, and they were probably a little smaller than what's on the VP, so $25 a door is freakin cheap!!!

Yep, they are re-trims, not covers.
