Get rid of the left over rego sticker

I got my new rego sticker today and while pullin the old one off some stuck on there, is there any way to get that off?

tried some kind of windscreen or glass/window cleaner? glass wipes? maybe some metho on a cloth

mine was totally brittle and discriminated in my hands while atempting to take it off...needed to use a sharp razer blade but if its teh sticky stuff clean it with warm water and mild detergent then dry off and restick

Use a sharp razor blade to remove the remaining sticker and then straight metho will remove all the sticky residue left.
