VR clubby mags

I got a mate with some 16" VR clubsport mags...well I told him the clubby mags are 17's, and the 16's are copies, but he said the 16's come out on the series 1 clubsport.

Anyone know if that's true?

as above real ones are only 17's. I got a set of 16" copys out the back too, they are fairly common i see them a fair bit round here. The PCW center cap is obviously not a hsv thing either. You will know a genuine set as they really look good, i have yet to see a copied set that look as good.

LMAO thats gold. They even have the PCW centres which are the copies!
Check the back, if they say HSV, they're real. If they don't, there fakes. Simple as that!

He asking about VR... Why would VP Clubby rims even come up? As far as I can tell from pictures, the VR and VP Clubby rims are somewhat different in appearance.

LOL just realised. There on the VP GTS aswell as the VR clubby, only 17s. My bad!

yeah VP GTS had them too, but they might be a different offset like other VP IRS rims? as said above, 16s = fake

As has already been pointed out, i only mentioned them because VP GTS have the same style (one could argue, VR clubby wheels are technically VP GTS wheels, as that was the first car to have them....)


Danny did you check the backs of them to prove a point to your mate?
