    Default Hiclones... Opinions wanted.

    Hey Guys,

My dad has been thinking of getting a Hiclone for his VR Wagon. He keeps telling me i should get one as well. I' am wanting to know what you guys think of them and are they really worth the buck? Does it promises better fuel efficiency and more power?

Would really love to know everyone's thoughts and opinions on them

    Regards

I did some research into this kind of gadget with a friend [who is an armature racing car drive]. Its the biggest bunch of bulldust. Look on youtube and find some independent tests. Its useless.

If you do the youtube search, look for it under the Ebay name; I cant remember what they call it on ebay.

Thanks guys I didn't really think that they were worth it and kept on saying to dad if we get an K&N Air Filter and also get a CAI for his wagon he will notice the difference in the Air to Fuel ratio. I have already put on a CAI on my VS, but still need to get a K&N Air Filter.

Cheers for the thoughts and opinion guys.

Ha ha , these things have been around since the 1970's .I can remember Street machine doing some tests on it way back then. The conclusion was they were a waste of money , and if you put it too close to the intake manafold you lost power and used more petrol.

If you want something similar, check out my CAI design. Creates the same sort of vortex on the intake to the air filter. Then if you get the K&N air filters that do it it helps more than what that could probably do!
