    Default E85 petrol.........

I read recently an article on the use of E85 petrol. They say it's currently available on pump, but only at a handful of places. They say it's conservatively rated at 110 octane- and that you'll most likely requires larger injectors and/or bigger fuel pump.. Does anyone know anything about E85??? The article i read was in a street Commodores Magazine, if anyone wanted to know....

Most are sceptics though, ive used it and definetly notice the difference.

    tune it..

Good safety to run bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump, but i didnt. Gained a fair bit of tourque and 10rwkw, but i had a dodgey stall converter then, ill try again in a few weeks with the cam.

ide be inclined to replace any rubber fuel lines as they have been known to leak when running E85 lots of americans had issues with high pressure efi fuel hoses spraying fuel all round the engine bay when changing to E85 as the hoses are only rated for petrol not alcohol.even good quality braided hoses were spraying out the sides.

I've heard changing your fuel filter frequently when you start using it too. It will loosen dirt and crap from the system and block your filter.
