plan is, i sell my vn calais, and by the time its sold i should have a total of 5000, and then 2 months later i'll get prob another 4000, im just on my l's, but hey, im 16, i got people who have full lisences who will cruise with me and let me do burnouts in the middle of nowhere, i want my car to go hard, but not be really noticable, so i want stock height, no real body mods, and a stock or performance exhaust system but if its performance its gotta be quiet as shit cause i dont wanna get a cam and yella terra roller rockers and the rest of it and have it sound like a v8, basicly my question is what car should i buy, i was thinkin a vr simply because i've heard their engines have the most get up and go outta the commodores, vp's/vn's have similiar engines but i think vps look like duds when they stock, so that rules them out, and i've got a lemon vn so i aint gettin another one. if anybody has a better idea for a car for me (be it a falcon, valiant, commy, whatever) let me know, and give a valid reason.
Cheers,
Steve.
bah i dont want a vn or vphate look of vp's and my current vn is a peice of shit, i dont mind age or nothing, and price is no real object, in 12 months i'll have like $20,000 and only about $1500 will be going to my motorbike, and prob $2,000 to smokes and shit like that so should have min 14k to spend. i cant have a v8 either as im going to need this car on my p's
sorry mate but ur a spastic. go learn to drive first rather then "do burnouts." Maybe that would be a little more worthwhile.
Also, OP, you should stick with the VN/VP. The Buick V6 goes harder than the Ecotec, and won't blow up as soon![]()

yeah thanks, thats what i've heard but mm, i've also heard vns were duds from the word go as they were first of the series therefor "experimental" plus my vn had a shitload of problems i spent about 2k gettin it roadworthy and it still aint ****in roadworthy so im kinda over em.
OP, the VNs aren't so bad. The VR/VS is getting to the point where they're just as unreliable anyway![]()

lol tom i dont want a 3.3, i was dead set on a vl cause i love the look of the calais front end, but im not allowed a conversion when im on my p's, which means im stuck with the 3.3 and yes, as i and the other fool has stated, im young and dumb, so power is #1 priority.
Everyone loves a good burnout. You got so much money to blow? Enter your car into EasternatsBurnout all you want for three days straight

I swear...the next person who posts a bullshit post will take a break, already had to delete 10+ posts in a small thread in issue infractions.

Sorry mate but the words stock 6 cylinder and performance don't go in the same sentance...........its just not going to happen.
Selling FG G6E Turbo and buying a N/A Supra
your stuck between a rock and a hard place really. Laws restrict you from having anything that goes hard. There are so many quick cars out there now days you are prob just better off having a nice v6 commo to cruise around in until you can legally mod it.
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone
You wont win anyone with your attitude for starters, secondly the VL had the RB30 nissan motor with is a 3ltr straight six, not the 3.3 ltr 202.
And i would recomend a VL/VN/VP for you. Something that isnt rare, cause looks like its not going to survive anyway. And your not gonna get a half fast car with your p plate restrictions anyway, without a v8 or forced induction.
Minux, No fair on deleting my last post lol
Ahh **** it, this is easier.
