hey guys im wondering if some one could give me some info on frieghting a car, like who to use, phone number, website and if anyone would no a rough price? its being frieghted from east gippsland up to adelade?

Adelaide car express usually have space, but not sure where that is and if they freight from there.

Gippsland is in Vic.... Its actually pretty much east side of melbourne to the coast, so a pretty large area. Assuming east gippsland is comonly referred to as Bairnsdale or Orbost though.

ok, its 15 minutes up the road from my place. No car carrier/couriers depo there from what I know, your closest would be Sale, or Traralgon. But if you can find one that is willing to pick up from a residential address you shouldnt have a problem, as its on there route back from Sydney to Melbourne anyway.

Just out of curiosity, is it a private sale in rosedale? assuming your from Adelaide?

Oh another local member Well since your from Rosie my above post is irrelevent caus you already know that lol. Cant say I've seen the car around, suprising caus I've turned at that corner every weekday for the last two years lol. There was a place in Bruthen who were doing cheap car transports but no idea if they go west, or what they are like. Otherwise you've got your usual like Toll. The Valley has a few transporters, give them a ring and see what they can do, or if they recommend anyone.

You could try Dyers, now that you mention it, I think ive seen a car carrier behind a dyers truck, no harm in checking anyway.

We're starting to get a fair few local people on here. Ill post up something in the vic chapter and see how many responses we get, caus I'd say there would be about 10 people so far that I can think of.
