Im bored and thought id make a thread about peoples IDLING intake noises... So post up your videos and info about the setup. Show us how loud you can get your pod or panel to make that oh so loved sucking noise!

I will post up mine tomorrow morning, because mine is at its loudest when it has a cold start.

You'll have to wait like 2 weeks for mine! Can't have an engine running with no oil! Doesn't sound like much, you'll probably hear the supercharger more when i do record the sound LOL.

Well in that case you wont hear much from mine LOL. You'll only hear it when it needs the air! Normally aspirated needs more air at idle than a supercharged vehicle. I'd need to rev it a bit LOL

All this talk and no videos yet lol. But i cant talk. I drove my car, then rememberd the video so it was already warm. But i will get it tomorrow morning for sure! Mines pretty loud, much louder then the exhaust on idle when cold

Not really the exact intake sound mine's making because it was from inside the cabin with the windows up, but gives an idea of the supercharger! :P And you may be able to hear the intake a bit.

BTW, engine was really warm at that point! And only mods i've done to it is the CAI. Havnt even changed the filter yet. This should be enough until i can get the sound of my intake! Still waiting on my car!

Ok here is mine, car wasnt 100% cold, but you can still hear it.

Mine is a standard vt otr cold ait intake and a 4" custom cold air intake under the bumper going into the standard box with a Splitfire high flow panel filter.

Definatly sounds like a vacuum. Mine doesn't sound like that at idle LOL. Are you still using a stock air filter or a proper K&N?

yeah did notice a small gain, i already had the pipe lying around in the garage, and $4 worth of connectors i thought i may aswell try. I also bought the bottom section of the box, so if i screwed it up i can chuck it back in. $24 from holden,
