Default Annoying Problem: Car Kit not working!

Hey guys, i have a VY with a built in Nokia car kit (the wired type with the cradle that plugs into the head unit i think) out of the blue it now doesnt connect with my phone (nokia 6288)

Basically what happens when i plug it in, the phone displays "Enhancement Not Supported" and then it beeps through the car speakers. It never used to happen and it happens regardless of whether the phone is plugged straight into the cable, or placed in the dock.

Would be great if someone could help a brother out!

    Cheers.

is there a car setting in the phone itself? other option is to do the restart of your phone, i.e lose all numbers and names etc and maybe not better off.

6288 mmm I had that phone for a whole 3 weeks, it burnt two sims and me being me I broke it in half.. Now have the E51 which I have found to be a great phone just pity nokia don't have the cradle for it mind the one I have does alright.

Delete the pairing pull the battery out then re-pair with the car kit . .

Upgrade the phones firmware on your PC should cure most prob's
    Cheers,

    Dave

The problem is, the phone works perfectly if i plug it in directly to the cable that connects to the car Head unit (the cable that plugs into the cradle), but when i plug it into the cradle it connects, but then says enhancement not supported.

possibly a software upgrade thats been done knowingly or unknowingly on the phone that has support issues with the cradle?
