A few months back i clipped a parked car cuz of a truck. the problem was the front left wheel got caught (probably cuz of large rims and tyres) and it destroyed the front LHS suspension/steering.Originally Posted by MY CAR
It got all repaired for $680, so not too bad.
however, driving the car now feels like shit. the steering is looser then paris hilton, i dont feel safe driving it above 80 and overall it just doesn't handle like it used to. could all be in my head but i doubt it. i use to enjoy cruising along the freeway @ 100 but now i dislike it.
i checked under the car but i cant see anything bent or broken. only 2 bushes, the RHS front and rear but they would likely to have been worn like that for ages.
what do you think is the likely cause of the problems?
You're probably wondering where you are. I'll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. This is your wake up call.
steering rack, ball joints, tierods, radius bushes, bad wheel alignment - could be any of these.
a lot of shit was replaced. ill have to find the list and post it.

If all the suspension was fixed, then it sounds like you need an alignemnt. If you have a lot of toe-out, the steering will be flighty and more responsive to changes in the road surface.

Take it to a front end specialist and get them to give you a report on it .

that's the best they could do.
