VR - VX Black Side Indicators

Been looking for smoked or black side indicators for the VT.

This is as close to what I could find but crystal black would be better.

My question is, these lights are for a Ford Probe. Now I know most side repeaters on ford & holden are interchangable and are made by Hella.

But will these fit a VT commodore?

I've seen the result of doing that and I would not recommend it. It turns them sorta purple.

Ive sprayed mine with a mix of black and clear and they look ok. But my first plan was to spray the inside of the lens,
Plan was stopped by the superglue hella used to hold it together.

This is more the effect im after.

If you want something different why not get WK Statesman? Looks heaps better and classier than any black ones and have ADR approval so they're insurance friendly
