vs 97 acclaim, manual, lsd, Cosmic purple pearl.
my v6 manual has surprised me, 10l/100km around town and it can get down to 7l/100 on the highway.... Its got 145,000ks, extractors, high flow cat and straight through exhaust, 2x cold air intakes and a sheilded k&n filter...

Country driving 10.5L/100km
City Driving 14.8L/100km

The one constant about my car is that it has always been relatively good for fuel consumption

I have still not managed any better than 16L/100klms for every day driving, and @ the moment i am not that concerned with it as im trying to really focus on the charger and getting it sorted! Then i will get around to the Calais and get stuck into that after the super6 goes in , wich will probably see the end of my fuel problems or not.......:D

Dont know if you have looked at the calibration of the trip computer in your Calais - but are the raw figs (not using the trip comp) saying 16 Lt?

have you changed your coolant lately. you would be suprised at the difference with a radiator flush and the right mix coolant. the wrong coolant or old coolant can cause electrolisis which affects your earth/ground system. with the right coolant my vs v6 wag does 7.4 l /100k highway 10.3 around town.

maybe an idea to if your listing your fuel figures is to tell us what fuel you guys use to, which might be interesting.

BP 95ron
12L/100 town
9L/100 highway
