VZ Trip Computer "Service Reminder" reset

Try this mate

1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Hold down the trip computer UP and DOWN buttons together.
3. Turn the ignition ON while still holding down both buttons.
4. After approx 3 seconds, release both buttons.
5. The service menu appears and asks if you want to reset.
6. Press and hold the SET button for more than 3 secs.
7. Press the MODE button.
8. Turn ignition OFF.

new key

hi people, new here,
does any one know how to program a new key i got one cut from a mister minit in sydney, but he had no instructions, so here i am with a new key too scared to use it.

it should be coded because thats apart of the process.
they have a machine that takes the code from the key he copied and puts it on the new key.

hold the bottom two buttons and key on
when it beeps release them
press and hold the top right button until it resets.
there are lots of VZ V6 cars with the instruments incorrectly programmed causing the 10k reminder, take it to the dealer to get the instrument cluster re-programmed.

Do you mean "Door lock in Drive"? This is set via the options menu. It is not reliable and sometimes may not operate consistently. If you didn't realise the door was locked and need to get out in a hurry, it can be an irritation to find the doors locked when you least expected it (even though that's what you've asked for the car...). It's basically a safety feature when you have kids on board (similar to the windows lock switch on the console). It seems to work best when there is a very short delay between e.g. engine started, seat belt fastened and gear selected. Not sure if it is a software glitch.

Does anyone know how to reset the service soon warning ? as i have done what i was told to do but when i go into the menu it says no items ,does anyone know what this means ?

You cannot reset the "Service Soon" message without a Tech2 Scan Tool , you will have to go to Dealer or an Auto Elect.
Many things will cause this message but the most common fault is an Oxygen Sensor fault problem or vehicle running too lean ( manifold air leaks) or too rich mixture, ECU or Fuel Regulator problem. All need a Tech 2 tool to diagnose.
