I dunno, pajero driver is in the wrong and is 100% liable, unless he is a pro doing it in a workshop don't bother; get it done properly through your insurance company. Otherwise it will probably look crap.

Don't waste your time feeling sorry for the other driver. If he's stupid enough to reverse in a petrol station, then try to blame you for being too close, screw him. He's a muppet.

The job was finally done early this week, his done a good job with the panel, but it seems to be 10mm higher than it should be?

Could this just be an easy adjustment?

There's also a gap between the outer edge of both headlights and the quarter panel - looks strange but that was there before the bingle, what's that about?

Was this a panel beater? Take it back, the guy has no professional pride at all. Unacceptable.

+1. I wouldn't even accept that back from him or pay for the job if it looked like that.

I checked it out before pick up, I was happy with the respray (which was all I paid attention to), I signed the form and went home. *facepalm*

Only upon closer (or should a say broader and less focused on the paint) inspection when I got home, did I realise the panel wasn't fitted properly.

I hadn't paid, the Pajero man paid the $400

Definitely not fitted right. Take it straight back and get it adjusted. That's very poor.

Is the inner edge of the guard not painted or is that just caked on, panel shop, shitty cutting compound? (2nd photo) Going by the stained trim and also the 4th photo, I'd say shitty cutting compound, but hard to tell from the pics.
