A family member was told years ago it had something called a europack
My understanding only on 5.0l manual

There were only TWO VB models that were 'Euro' .. or more correctly 'European' packs
as distinct from Sports or City or Country packs on VB Commodores

There was the 208 pack on the SL model... known as the 3.3 European pack
That was a 3.3 litre M20 4 speed alloy wheels 4 wheel disk braked model
It also got an AM/FM stereo with cassette player (BIG deal back then!) plus tacho,
headlamp wiper/washers, rear speaker and front and rear bumper over riders.


And there was the 306 pack on the SL/E known as the 4.2 European SL/E
That was an SL/E with 4.2 V8, M20 4 speed rear speaker ... and central locking (but NOT power windows)

Geez .. its good when the memory works

Our car has central locking and rear speaker + power windows headlamp wiper/washers
Take it all of above would have been customer ordered factory options for an auto
Not sure what front and rear bumper over riders look like

Im not expecting car to be worth anymore than an average sle
Just keen to get facts clear on possible packs
Any factory fitted packs would have a specific number at end of model number correct?

yes... but only if you have the production broadcast sheet for the car.

I used to get a daily VAP production report that listed everything handed to Traffic at a VAP (for shipment)
It would say (for example) 8VX69-306 ..and then list colour/trim codes PLUS any factory added options like power windows or vinyl roof
and this info came from the broadcast sheet for that particular car

Only ones with stamped model extensions pack numbers are VC onwards.

Is there anyway of getting hold of VAP reproduction sheets smitty?
And given the options fitted is it likely car had any specific packs not stamped sl/enut?
Would the Australian Muscle Car ID Handbook help decipher options fitted?

You won't get broadsheets re done.
The AMCM ID hand book doesn't have SL/Es in there, only HDT VC-VL's only. There is this Holden’s Black Book | Jadlaw Publishing
Sorta has what specific packs have.
