10-speed gearbox

The 2017 Camaro will get this. Supposedly will be shared with Ford Mustang, as neither scores sufficient sales to justify the R & D for RWD gearbox.
Pity the Commodore won't last long enough - they could have swung some down under.

Assume you're talking about a sludge-box (auto)?

The Corvette already has a 7 speed manual, which is triple overdrive, I really can't see the need for any higher gearing.

With ten speeds in an auto you may as well just fit a Constant Velocity Transmission and be done with it, the thing would be forever changing gears anyway.

Definitely better than a CVT.

May be a slush box but outperforms some DCT's.

The Volvo FM I drive has a. 12 speed semi auto , but 10 in a car ?? Yeah nah
