VE SS Series 1
I have a full Difillipo 3inch system in my shed, purchased it 2nd hand, my current system on vcm16 cammed ve is xforce 2.5 catback with 1 7/8 xforce headers, the car actually feels good with plenty responsiveness , however sound wise its terrible , if i bolt on the full difiilipo 1 3/4 headers, will the car require retune? I live rural so no tuners where i.live,

VEGTS BUILT BLOWN E85
i went from duel 2.5" to duel 3" and i lost a little down low and had to add some fuel up top (boosted tho) u will prob get the same affect but may not be as much, all depends how last tuner done it also, if u can monitor 02's under WOT before and after make sure they stay the same mv reading should be above 800mv should still be safe

I would think you would be safe, but yeah you will definitely have a much more pleasing noise to listen too with the x force in the rubbish pile!!!

I put an x force system on my Caprice. Couldn’t live with it, just not for me. The DPE systems aren’t cheap though, you are dead right.

Won’t cost a cent if the big fella drops a bunch of bits under the tree. ;)

A cheap option (we are speaking Xforce) is to just add to and/or replace the mufflers they use

A guy at work got a VE SS with a full Xforce exhaust, it sounded loud and tinny and the drone was insane

He got the local exhaust shop to weld in different mufflers

Car sounded 100% better, it is still loud, but good loud, and didn't cost him that much IIRC

Sound is relative though, some people like the noise Xforce makes, not me though.

Changing it the exhausts over should be fine but changing smaller extractors/cats you'd want the tuner to check if tune needs touch up.

Got vy sv8 tune/otr etc....has twin 3" xforce,100cell cats...sounded wild with 1 7/8 pipes but I like cars to sound obnoxious as hell

Santa’s probably got me on his naughty list this year lol
Surely this equates to bonus points and a blower for good measure.
