Hi Greg what can you recommend to give my VZ exec sedan a sportier suspension package whilst maintaining stock vehicle height?
I'm thinking a set of kyb's with kings, what package deal could you do on a set of those? I wouldn't need the shortend kyb shock absorbers, just the standard length. But i'd like both the shocks and springs to offer better performance (firmer ride and cornering abilities) or it's just a waste of money buying both together.
In saying that, would it be beneficial to get a set of shocks leaving the stock springs, or a set of springs leaving the stock shock absorbers?
Edit: Just found out this info, could you give me a price on the below items.
KYB:
HOLDEN COMMODORE VZ, SV6, SV8 & SS all with FE2 Sports Susp. Sedan
Excel-G Twin Tube Gas Shock
Front Left 339093, Right 339092
Rear Left 344312, Right 344312
Kings:
COMMODORE VZ V6, SEDAN, FE2 HEIGHT
Front KHFS-22
Rear KHRL-125
Also do you know what height the car will sit with the "FE2" marked kings/kyb?

Hi mate,
To be honest unless you want to change the ride height, I would personally just stick with the stock springs, and go some KYB shocks. If you want to tighten the car up a bit, I'd do other things like front radius rod bushes ($179), and front sway bar ($265) before I didn't standard height springs.
Anyways, KYB's as per above part numbers (which are correct!) are $139 each for the front, and $70 each for the rear, and both in stock. Low Kings will be slightly higher than the FE2 you have now, so as I said, I'd just keep the stock springs and do other items...
Regards,
Greg
