Default VX - Extractors and exhaust system

Iv got a VX, and all iv done with the exhaust is removed the rear muffler, and put a straight pipe with a tip, just wondering if extractors are worth getting? what i would need excatly, how hard it is to fit them and also the price i should be paying and if i need a full 2 1/2 inch cat back or not. If anyone could help me out with tips or anything it would be much appreciated, thanks.

Cat back system is $259, a full system, including headers is $689. Both have a straight section in the rear (no muffler).
