Hi mate,

If you need the flywheel, std kit is $1165, and heavy duty is $1275.

If it's already got the flywheel, std kit is $729, and heavy duty is $859.

hey mate, been told the vu's run a dual mass flywheel, not to sure on the riliability of this comment so thought i show throw it out there and guage by the reaction which way is the better choice

Hi mate,

That's correct, the kit replaces the troublesome dual mass flywheel with an aftermarket single mass flywheel. Apart from slight NVH, there's very few reasons to keep the dual mass flywheel, except for a slight price difference maybe. The vast majority of people who do clutches on Commodores replace the dual mass with a single mass.

Got two main option, either a straight heavy duty, $1095 including single mass flywheel, or if you're putting out a bit of power, a sports organic is $1395 including single mass flywheel.

Hi mate,

Exedy don't make a heavy duty clutch to suit the DMF. To get into a heavy duty clutch you need to go to a single mass flywheel kit which is $1279.

If you're handy you'd be able to replace it, but it is a big job, and an expensive part to bugger up if you get it wrong.

i had a Exedy HD clutch kit slaped in my vt 5.7 6spd today , $350 to have it fitted and $730 to buy the clutch kit and yes it was a solid FW not DMF

Sounds about right, the V8 clutch kits are a fair bit cheaper.
