    Default Lowering VZ ute

    hey mate,
just wondering if king spring ultra lows in a base model vz ute would lower it under the 100mm law..i wanted the car lowered enough so the wheels are just tucked into the guard, but want it to be legal at the same time, could you recommend a package for that? the tray won't be loaded up too much, it barely ever takes a load, and will rarely tow, and if i tow it's only a jetski or light trailer.

    cheers mate

generally ultra lows will lower the car to less than 100mm on all commodores, but unless you attract alot of attention by driving like an idiot 9 times out of 10 you wont have any trouble. for example i have ultra lows in the front of my vz and sssl s in the rear, have 20's on the front and stockies on the back, has been this way for about 3 months, i get pulled over about once a week and i am always like yes sir, no sir, have a good day sir, and yet havent had any problems or questions what so ever.

    Hi mate,

As the guys have said, generally ultra low is under that 100mm, and super low is about the limit.

Our package for VU-VZ utes is $795, which includes front shortened KYB shocks, rear shortened 60mm body Oztec shock (designed specifically for lowered VU-VZ utes) and front and rear King Springs of any height. Shipping to you would be $12.

Any other questions just let me know!

    Regards,
    Greg

Depends what sort of life the car has had, but they may or may not need replacing at the moment... If they do, then we do a kit with an SKF bearing in a Boge mount, and they're $59 per side.
