    Default +1 recommend Remsa Pads

got some Remsa Police spec pads of Greg and can recommend them, they are top stuff.

I replaced the rotors at the same time with DBA slotteds as the old rotors were very badly warped after a track day. Pads were almost completely gone too.

They bite really well and ABS came on very early when bedding them in. After a few stops you can really feel the difference.

Also question to Greg: I forgot to reuse the shim when i did the first side and realised this after i had put one side back together already. the shim didnt sit properly flush against the back of the pad when i did the second side so I didnt bother putting them on. Is this shim meant to be there just for antisqueal? So far not a squeal at all but only have done around 50km on them so far.

    Thanks
    Nick

I have had these pads from Greg on his supplied RDA slotteds and TRP600 fluid for a few months now. The only issue is a lot of brake dust (doesn't bother me), when the brake dust builds up they tend to squeal at low speeds a tad... A hit with a few sprays of brake cleaner and they're good.

All in all they stop awesomely, have probably already saved me from a rear ender when someone failed to give way

    Hi Nick,

You shouldn't be reusing any shim at all, as the Remsa have them already stuck on as standard.

    Regards,
    Greg
