hey mate
i just realised today my ute has red springs in it, as it sits lower than standard, i believe them to be pedders
so i pulled a part number tag off one of the coils and jumped on pedders looking for the spring itself
i had no luck there haha
but basically im wondering what they pedders sports ryders are equivalent to, as in SL, SSl, or SSSL
im semi keen on going lower in the back and i wanna know what to buy haha
the serial number is 2643 0504NB
thanks
If you measured from the lip of the wheel arch to the center of wheel nut, people here might be able to know just from that measurement.
2643 is a super low in a ute, it should aproxamatly give you a measurement of 382mm from hub to guard.
i just measured then, got 340mm from hub to guard, would running 18s compared to say 20s make this distance differ?
no wont change the height of the hub at all, still in the same spot. have you got a hard lid or tow bar or anything in the back that would be weighing it down?
40mm is a fair bit different. what size wheels do you have? if there 18" you should have a measurement of 610mm from bottom of rim to guard, if 20" it would be 635mm give or take a little. that part number is 2643 or is it 2641? 2641 is aprox 25mm lower than 2643, but not 40mm.
its definatly 2643, but yes i have both the thunder hardlid and a tow bar on the back, if thats enough to drop it 40mm.
i do have 18s, cant remember the tyres off my head, ill measure from bottom of rim to guard later and also check the tyre size
