Default 10 Days of DBA Madness! The clearance list you'll be forwarding to your friends!!!

Ok, so lets be honest, up until now, DBA's clearance lists have been of the 'less popular items', as in, they've been clearance for a reason!

    THAT'S ALL ABOUT TO CHANGE!

From this Thursday, starts the clearance list we've all been waiting for! One day, one vehicle, unbelievable pricing!!! Below is the list of available vehicles, and the only day that that vehicle's package deals are available on!

    17th November S13 180SX SR20DET
    18th November VE V6 Commodore
    21st November Mk5 Golf GTi
22nd November VE V8 Commodore (inc. Redline)
23rd November R33 GTR Skyline (Brembo)
24th November VT-VZ Commodore (inc. SSZ and HSV)
    25th November R34 Skyline
    28th November MY99-MY07 WRX
29th November JZA 80 Supra 4/2 Pot (Big Brakes)
30th November MY01-MY04 WRX STi (Brembo)

All orders are pre orders, and delivery is estimated to be early December!

First in until sold out, quickest way to order is credit card over the phone, 1300 884 836, or else drop us an email, sales at gslrallysport.com and we can organise direct deposit!

Each vehicle is only available on the above date, and only whilst stocks last!!

All the packages and their pricing for the 10 days can be found here:
    http://www.gslrallysport.com/DBA/GSL...20Madness!.pdf
I will be opening a new thread for each day of the sale, with full details etc.

Regardless of whether you need brakes right now, take advantage of this pricing whilst available!

As always, any questions just let us know!

    VT-VZ Commodore - 24th November
    Package 1 (Std VT-VZ Brakes)
Front DBA 4000 Series Slotted Rotors
    +
Rear DBA 4000 Series Slotted Rotors
    +
    Shipping
    =
    $449 delivered!!

What's the retail on these and how much better are these over the standard?

    Also:

Front QFM HPX Pads $39.50 (50% off!)
Rear QFM HPX Pads $39.50 (50% off!)
    Front QFM A1RM Pads $59.50 (50% off!)
    Rear QFM A1RM Pads $59.50 (50% off!)

Are the A1RM pads overkill or do they have a fair bit more difference?

    Cheers.

    About double that!

and how much better are these over the standard?
4000's, heaps! Made in Australia (unlike most rotors!), higher carbon content (so last longer), and are heat treated (for better performance).

    Also:

Rear QFM HPX Pads $39.50 (50% off!)

If you're not doing track or sprint work, best to stick to the HPX.

Probably silly to ask, but I guess the packages can't be changed at all? Exchange rear rotors for pads or something? (S13 Silvia SR20DET)

Cheers, no worries. I think i might actually squeeze some money into it on that day as my brake pads finally need changing, and the car doesn't stop fast enough haha.

I've actually got a track day next month and I'll be going to a few drags so I might think about the better pads.. That being said I won't be doing it often so I may just stick with the HPX pads..

    Cheers! Will be in touch.

I used to run A1RM pads from Greg, they were nothing short of amazing. Now I'm running the Remsa pads but I wish I had paid the extra for the A1RMs again. Nothing wrong with the Remsa pads, but the A1RMs were exceptional. My opinions anyway.

I'll see how funds are.. it's bad timing since I've got everything happening the day after (the friday) for the manual conversion etc lol...

It'll be hard just to get the rotors but if i make it hard for a few weeks will save me a bit.

Already set a reminder on my phone for 9am on thursday 24th, will be onto it like a rash.

EDIT: Just noticed it's pre orders, are you able to pay half one week half the next since it's a pre-order or does it have to be paid in full?

    Cheers.

    Awesome.
I wonder how much better the 4000 are than my stock VE SS brakes. How much harder it'll stop.
    Must research!

On the 22nd is VE V8 day, and options are:
    • package 1, DBA street series, $395
    • package 2, 4000 series slotted, $585
    • package 3 (to suit Redline brembo only) 4000 slotted, $609 {not for my car}
    • package 4, street series, cross drilled $559

Will changing my 105,000km stock VE V6 old rotors to the 4000 series slotted make much difference to the brakes? Mine seem 'spongy' atm, but that seems to be a VE thing.

Yep, in exceptional circumstances we'll accept a minimum of 50% deposit.

Generally sponginess is related to fluid, but if your 105,000km stock rotors are that thin that the pistons are over extending, then definitely new rotors [and pads] will help!!

So just checking, you don't have to get rotors to get the pads at that price if you just need pads ? I don't think i need rotors yet ... but i'll try and squeeze my callipers through the spokes and check before Friday !!

The pad pricing is only with the purchase of the applicable rotor package. In most cases the pads are below cost and we're just writing it off on trying to make the rotor packages more attractive...

Order it as a V8 kit, and just tell us at the time that you need the V6 rears not the V8. Given both are on the sale list that's fine as there isn't exact numbers front/rear anyway. If one wasn't then we'd have problems...
