Front Rotors

Hey guys, looking for a pair of Front rotors for my 2003 VY.

Not looking to blow all my money away on new front rotors just after something decent... (Full time uni student, currently unemployed)

whats a good choice for a everyday car?

Hi mate,

Where you just after slotted or just plain rotors? Prices on both as follows:
- RDA Std $39 each
- RDA Slotted $165 for the pair
- DBA Street Series Std $55 each
- DBA Street Series Slotted $99 per rotor

Did you need pads also?

The trw pads are quite hard on discs if they're quite a soft disc (performance) they won't last without matching pads.

Have you prices genuine? Generally common consumable items arent that badly priced.

Although in saying that I want to put slotted discs in mine when they're due. Will probably go ebc (if they make them).

i think slotted are better for mine.. i brake heavily sometimes hahah.. and i think i ride the brake sometimes as well.. something im trying to change.

Pads, I'd go QFM HPX, which are $79 per set front or rear. Rotors, really depends on how much you wanted to spend. The RDA are sufficient in terms of quality, but the DBA are a little nicer finished, with painted centre hats etc.

are the DBA Street Series Std drilled or slotted or both?

The prices quoted for slotted was just slotted. Cross drilled in street series to suit are $138.60 each front or rear.

I think you will be ok with Slotted. That's one thing with Autos you need to hit the brake alot more than a manual.
