Default Adjustable front castor rod issues, bushes failing

Hi guys i installed some noltec turn buckle adjustment castor rods to my vr not long ago and to my shock the front castor rod to cross member bushes have almost completely perished the bushes have literally crumbled to pieces also the rrear bushes are starting to split, has anyone else had similar issues? I believe whiteline took over noltec please correct me if i'm wrong but im hesitant to replace the bushes with what may be the same product i was thinking of using super pro this time around but it got me thinking maybe having the adjustable rods there has contributed to the issue should i just throw standrad rods back in?

    Cheers Dan

Were these actually Noltec blue bushes? If so it's probably because they're about eleventy billion years old, and have gone all brittle. Or they weren't greased properly during the installation.

Super Pro or Whiteline Plus are the pick of the bunch (both we do), with Nolathane not quite as good.

The adjustable won't have made any difference.

    Hi Dan,

Those 3 kits are $49, $59 and $49 respectively. Basically the same price as buying the kit.

    Regards,

Sorry to hijack the thread, but where did you get the castor rods from? I can only find one set for almost $500, a little out of my price range. Would be for a 6cyl vp
