    Default VY new brakes

Hi my V6 VY needs new brakes, probably all around.

Its just a standard 6er but is quite sluggish with the brakes. Would you recommend going slotted up front? Or all round?

Im after some prices for RDA front slotted and RDA standard rear (if that is what you would recommend) and the bendix full contact pads (front and rear) DB1344?

Are these the pads you would recommend too?

Also shipping costs for total, to Perth.

    Thanks!

    Hi mate,

Generally we recommend going the same upgrade all round so that everything is balanced. There's very few applications were you can get away with lesser parts in the rear, namely a very light FWD.

RDA Slotted rotors to suit are $165 for the front pair, and $149 for the rear pair. RDA Standard rotors are $40 each for the front, and $35 each for the rear.

Alternatively DBA street series slotted are $99 per rotor front or rear.

and the bendix full contact pads (front and rear) DB1344?

Not even if they were the last pads on earth... The only full contact pads available from Bendix are the Ultimate and above, which are hideously overpriced...

I'd go QFM HPX, which are a full contact pad roughly equivalent to a Bendix Ultimate in terms of performance, but low dust and rotor wear. $79 per set front or rear.

Also shipping costs for total, to Perth.
$25 for both front and rear pads and rotors.

Easiest way to order is credit card over the phone, 1300 884 836, or else swing me your details, full name, delivery address (preferably a work or business address!!), contact number and email and I can fire you through an invoice with direct deposit details.

Any other questions just let me know1

    Regards,
    Greg
