I've got both front and back AP's. Will have a look around for backing plates, might be difficult to find though. As long as i know they can be made up

Got the pads put on today....freaking awesome man. I'll be highly recommending these to anyone who asks. The cold bite and the amount of speed it wipes off is just awesome!

Why would you need them resurfaced when you require new pads?

It would be cheaper to just by a new set!

Yep, with backing plates that are available direct out of QFM its far cheaper to just get new ones, than to ship backing plates 3 times because it costs the same to get supplied backing plates re-done that it does to just order new ones.

Well after 1 week I've noticed the difference with less dust on my mags.

Definately more bite from these pads!

Sorry Tony! Myself and the team were down in Melbourne over the weekend for Rally Akademos and have only just got back to the office today. Give me a bell on 1300 884 836.

I'll be in touch soon Greg, these stocker brakes on the VE are crapola! Could be extra weight but you seem to need plenty of force to stop them.

No dramas mate. Got both HPX and A1RM in stock here for the VE. Also in our move preparation (we're moving at the end of the month) I've totally forget to fix you up, I'll get it sorted this week!

    HPX fitted to 300ZX Convertible
I have been running the HPX on the front of the convertible for a couple of months now. I have not noticed any dust and the difference to whatever pads were there before is that they perform near 100% from the very first application.

Hey Greg for a comparison what would the specs of stock pads be?

Formulation - Cold Friction - High Friction - Temperature

Im considering completly wrecking my stock pads on track day cause there going to be working overtime, but i just want to know how much better it could be if i did buy some new pads before hand

No idea what stock pads would be as they'd all be different, but wouldn't be too far off what QFM super X pads are... Ie. about 450 degrees and around the 0.36-0.40 friction range hot/cold... stock pads will never hold up to any track work as they just gas up at a too lower temperature.

    Which car's this for?

gslrallysport, do you sell the caliper bolts for the VX Series 1 Calais calipers ?? In the manauals it states these are torque to yield bolts, but i am sure they have never been changed before. I have never seen a guide to write up where it says ti change them, but Haynes and Gregories both says to change them...

You'll wreck stock pads even before you've had a chance to do any track work...

Nup, that'd be a genuine thing only I'd assume. I know some Lucas pads come with the bolts, but I don't ever recall seeing them in a VT set.

Love my A1RM's smile.gif Matched with DBA4000 wiper slot rotors and good fluid I don't notice any fade on mountain runs.

    Feedback even money couldn't buy!!!

Well I've just got back from Oz where I spent 2000km's driving on a new set of A1RM pads from gslrallysport.

These are an excellent road-track day pad and a good compromise for those that want one pad to everything!!! Much cheaper then Endless, ProjectMu, SBS, Ferodo etc and as good or better...

IMHO these are excellent, very cheap (mine were about $120 for the fronts IIRC) and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

If you want a new set of sport pads then these are the pad to get...

Do you have these pads to suit an E series Clubsport ? factory ones are very dusty.

At this stage no, but having recently priced up EBC for them (and seen how ridiculously priced pads are), it is a pad we'll get laser cut and made up in the next few months. Only drama is we'll have to get a second hand set of pads, or buy a new set of EBC's and copy the backing plate. When we do the custom pads like this the prices generally work out to be about $110 in HPX front or rear, and $149 in A1RM front or rear. Same pricing as the custom Brembo gear we do.

    Stayed tuned!
