    Hi mate,

Separately the HPX is $79 per axle set front or rear. Together with the half price rears deal they're $131 shipped. Again, using the full face material (police spec) front pad.

    Cheers,

Hey gsl, can you give me a price on HPX for a '94 VR (just fronts). I'm not sure if the prices quoted by you are for all models. Price for shipping would be great aswell, thanks.

Hi Guys, Could you please give me a price on some RDA Slotted Rotors Front and Rear with pads delivered to adelaide. My car is a VY SS. Not sure on what spec pads to get. Mainly city driving but the odd drive through the hills.

    Thanks

    Hi Daryl,

Front and rear slotted rotors, and front and rear QFM pads would be:
-With QFM HPX Pads $495 delivered
-With QFM A1RM Pads $555 delivered

Quick run down on the pads:
    - The HPX is a Bendix Ultimate type performance pad, good for about 550 degrees, whilst being virtually dust free, and low rotor wear.
    - The A1RM is a Ferodo DS2500 type performance pad, good for about 780 degrees, but will still work from dead cold (A1RM and HPX have the same cold friction), and relatively low dust and rotor wear. I run the A1RM in both my daily road car and rally car and it isn't a compromise in either.

If going the A1RM's (or even the HPX if you're serious) I'd also recommend getting better brake fluid, as fluid is always the weak link LONG before pads or fluid give up the game. We use and recommend TRW GP600 which is $59 for a 1L bottle.

Any other questions just let me know.

    Regards,
    Greg

Awesome pads, i use them on all my cars.

Most memorable experience with them was with my S2 RX7 that I had a few years ago. I used to be very hard on braking to the point where I was going through a set of Bendix pads every 3-4 weeks and I always has excess brake dust. Not with QFM, and they lasted at least 8-10 weeks which was awesome...

Looks like I may need a set of pads for my VX V6, Bendix Ultimate ain't so ultimate. I'll probably go HPX, so how much for all 4 corners? Also do they fully cover the back plate like police spec pads?

    Hi mate,

Yep both the HPX and A1RM pads cover the whole backing plate. If you're not happy with the Ultimates in performance then I'd probably step up to the A1RM, at least for the front anyway, as the HPX is pretty similar to the Ultimates in performance. The HPX is $79 per axle set front or rear, and the A1RM is $119 per axle set front or rear.

With the half price rears deal you can get:
    - Front and Rear HPX for $131 delivered
    - Front A1RM and rear HPX for $171 delivered
    - Front and rear A1RM for $191 delivered

Are the A1RM's ok for everyday use, as in bite straight out of the garage. And I'm only kinda dissappointed with the Ultimate's because I expected fully lined, not the normal half stuff.

You guys are at Mt Gravatt now aren't you? I might be heading that way soon anyway. Do you have these pads in stock? Also do you by any chance do disc machining in-store?

Yep, A1RM are fine straight out of the garage, there's heaps of people (particularly skylines) running them as a daily pad. The A1RM's cold friction is 0.40 (vs 0.41 for the HPX), which is more than enough compared to both Bendix Ultimate and EBC Green which around the 0.36 mark...

You guys are at Mt Gravatt now aren't you? I might be heading that way soon anyway. Do you have these pads in stock?
Sort of... since we sold the workshop in Brendale late last year we're purely a mobile business now (ie. no shop front), so either we'll throw it on one of our delivery runs, or on a courier. Those prices above with the half price rears deal include shipping. Goth both front and rears in stock in both compounds aplenty!

Also do you by any chance do disc machining in-store?
Again, not since we sold the workshop...

Ordering is either by credit card over the phone, or I can email you through an invoice with direct deposit details.

    Cheers,

    QFM A1RM News just in!!!
The guys at the end of the quarter mile look at me weird when i stop from 200 down to 40 in a very short period, it's not that i really want to, it's just that it is so effortless too as the retardation is so great.

I haven't had them on the track yet, but once the speedo is in the three digit zone, those a1rm seem to be the ****.

Best pad i have used so far, higher the speed the better they work, maybe it is a heat thing, but at these higher speeds they really like it.

In saying that they are still perfect on the street, as well, very important to me. No weird noises at all at legal street speeds just once you get the speed up, like freeway + speeds, they work very well.

Would have no dramas recommending them to anyone with a car they need to stop well from higher speeds.

QFM A1RM on a high modified high horsepower heavy weight VE V8 Calais!
I have had the QFM A1RM pads on for a whiles now and they have seen some hard driven Ks and bit of circuit work and they perform extremely well at full noise. What I have noticed of late though is that the longer I have them on the car the better they have become. The pedal is simply getting firmer and more responsive and the stopping power in normal daily drive conditions is even better than when they were new.

The VE Calais-V is one heavy mumma to pull up, but this combo does it well!

QFM A1RM on a Nissan S14... and I've never heard them called this before!
    I'm running A1RM's f&r - I haven't noticed any excessive dust yet.

Around town & through some hills they feel great, good initial bite that progressively gets stronger until your eyes pop out your skull and your foot gets massaged by ABS. I haven't experienced any noise/squealing with these pads either. I'm very keen to give them a proper run, when I do I'll try and write up some more details.

I came off a set of Ultimates to these, these make the ultimates feel like the OEM nissan pads, prefer them over Green Stuff also.

    A1RM: sexual chocolate
Ultimates/Green Stuff: what should be factory pads
Factory pads: feels like your hanging bra's out the window to slow down

QFM A1RM Fitted to an R33 GTR
Fitted a full set of A1RM's to my R33 late last year
Have given them a right caning through the Dandenongs a couple of times now and they are AWESOME!
They seem to give progressively more bite the harder you push them... no fade.
Not too much dust, only tiny amount of squeal (only at crawling speeds with the window down - but you don't get something for nothing)
These pads cannot be beaten for value for money
