    Hi mate,

The VZ 4 pot fronts, or 4 pot rears?

I had to ask, as alot of people when they're asking for the 4 pots to suit VZ mean the rears when they have the 6 pot fronts.

4 pot fronts in HPX are $119 for the set, and currently on a manufacturing back order, due 2-3 weeks.

The rear 4 pot we don't do in HPX, but instead supply a European performance brand called Remsa (what we supply for Porsche road cars), and these to suit the rear are $95 for the set, and in stock.

Definitely less dusty than OEM, even though they are a European pad. Thing to remember that OEM pads will always be very soft, and very dusty because OEM pads only have one purpose for existing in life, and that's to make absolutely no noise during a test drive what so ever, so zero k's on the clock, and no bed in.

lol the oem pads are far from quiet in my experience. i know the AP brakes aren't as loud as the old harrops but get a bit of heat into them and they squeel like crazy never fade though.

i think i'll be in contact shortly for a set of pads for all 4 corners the rotors are also getting low what do you recommend i'm a bit reluctant to do AP rotors again as these rotors are known for being soft and not havee a good wear life.

QFM HPX wins again against the competition!
    QFM HPX vs. Bendix Ultimate

...Ultimates are like a set of Ferodo generic pads!

In My Opinion - I have tried both on my VX Commodore:

I had Bendix Ultimates and I found them to be noisy, very very dusty and it liked to eat out my rotors, they pull-up was okayish but I found they didn't have enough "bite" for my liking.

The QFM HPX Pads - I had them fitted to new rotors as the old ones were chewed out and could not be machined further. I purchased standard rotors after the pads had been bedded in wow.. simply wow! The pull up from them was so much better, and ABS kicked in much much quicker hardly any dust and alot less noisy.

Still some squeaks here and there but all in all, a much better improvement over the Ultimates.

what do you recommend i'm a bit reluctant to do AP rotors again as these rotors are known for being soft and not havee a good wear life.
Rotors for the VE, we can either do:
    RDA Slotted
    Front $755 for the pair
    Rear $735 for the pair

    DBA Slotted
5000 Series (2 piece) Fronts $665 per rotor (then replacement rotors after that are only $369 each)
4000 Series Fronts $315 per rotor
4000 Series Rear $245 per rotor

On this rare occasion the DBA are cheaper, and the 4000 series slotted are a good buy. If you plan to keep the car for a while, might be worth going the 5000 series fronts, as the replacement rotor for the 2 piece rotor aren't much more than the 4000 series anyway. Any other questions just let me know!

Front DBA 5000 Series Slotted $665 per rotor (replacement rotors $335 each)

RDA, and single piece front and rear DBA rotors not available.

QFM A1RM does the job in an Evo 3 Sprint car!
Just giving these guys a good wrap, awesome service and support! Used the QFM pads on my EVO3. I have only used them for 15kms (after a quick bed in) at the Pittsworth Sprints, work great from cold, and better with slight warm up to the dummy grid. My only advise is with EVO3's with QFM's is you'll need to a bit lighter on the brake pedal as these grip up well!

    The Brutal Truth About A1RM!
I use A1RM on the track/street on a heavy arse underbraked car.

####ing brilliant, not sure how anyone drives a car without them, come into their own in the triple digit speed range.

brake dust is a royal mofo, but that's life i guess. a stock euro car with tuv standard pads dust just as bad and they are oem and don't stop as good.

i hear good things about ds2500 but at double or triple the price, forget that, the a1rm will last 3 track days for me.

not even harsh on rotors like some people toss on about, the pads are rather soft imho.

Just updating my purchase from Greg. I got standard rotors and QFM's HPX pads for the front of my car.

First thing, Greg is a gentlemen. Second the pads are awesome. no need to slam the brakes hard for stopping power anymore. but if you really need some performance from your brakes and need to stop on a 50c coin. no problems at all. im so impressed with the stopping power i have changed my braking ways. i now pull up faster and release to a nice smooth easy stop. I have hardly felt a single fade from them. cold starts are fine also. small brake dust, but rotors and pads and new, and it's very minimal. So if your thinking about getting standard brakes pads - your trucking futs.

Just bought some pads off GSL and i'm extremely happy with everything about the purchase. I'm not sure exactly who i spoke to, but got excellent customer service. I ordered late friday afternoon and received them lunch time in W.A today, very happy with the speed compared to other eastern states companies. After chucking in the front pads we had to have a quick test, so we put some kays on the car, bedded the pads in then did some brakeing! WOW the big black ve actually stops now! And very quickly aswell...
The only downer was that the box had split and the pads were floating around the bag loose, but the bag didnt split so all good.. cheers GSL and I'll definately be buying off you again soon...
