RDA Standard & High Performance Disc Rotors

I do a fair bit of driving through steep windy roads used for hill climbs, most corners are 30-50kph, however im a bit of a leadfoot and brake heavily into these corners. i have some sort of bendix pad, one 25km trip and my mags are black and all i can smell is brakes, i also have screwed rotors due to a faulty trailer plug screwing with the abs. I am looking for an aftermarket brake set up for my VZ calais with this intense brake abuse in mind, don't really wanna upgrade calipers.

Anyone ever tried the Molycarbide disc rotors made by rda....I know someone that has used and abused many types of rotors and these are the only ones that keep up with the pads...wider curved slots but are the ticket according to him....Im on the verge of trying them but they are a little more cost than full steel units but if you are going through discs frequently.... in the long run are worth it....Ive read about them in yank cars on the net but they havent really gone popular here...apart from the cost Im trying to find someone who can say anything bad about them.

- Front Slotted Rotors $179 for the pair
- Rear Slotted Rotors $165 for the pair
- Front QFM HPX Pads $79 (Police spec full face pads)
- Rear QFM HPX Pads $79
- 1L Bottle of TRW GP600 Dot 4 Racing Brake Fluid $65

Shipping to you would be $15.

QFM HPX are a Bendix Ultimate equivalent but very low dust and rotor wear.

ANychance you can PM me a quote for RDA slotted front rotors for a VZ SV6, and suggest a set of pads to go with them? I've been suggest TWR but what woudl you suggest? Also, do the rotors need machining, or can i just fit them?

Hi mate,

Sorry about the late reply A pair of front slotted rotors is $179.

The pad that we recommend is the QFM HPX Police Spec pad, which is a Bendix Ultimate equivalent pad performance wise, but very low dust and rotor wear. For the front is $79 for the set, which is about half the price of the TRW pads (the equivalent TRW part number is GDB7584).

Rear HPX pads are also the same price, and whether or not the rotors need machining is pretty application specific. I'm personally not a fan of machining rotors that don't need to be, but if you don't, just keep in mind it will take alot longer to bed the pads in, so don't flog them too hard up front!

Should be the same as all IRS VS HSV withe the C4 PBR front caliper, but just if you can check that it has 328mm front rotors, and 280mm rears. Prices as follows:

Front Slotted $389 for the pair
Rear Slotted $429 for the pair
Front HPX $110
Rear HPX $79

Pads in stock, rotors would be ex-RDA.

I'm after two slotted front discs to suit a VS with the VT upgrade. If it helps, the part numbers I have found are DBA040BSL and DBA040BSR, but they're obviously a different brand.
Do you sell these? And what would postage be to VIC 3822?

Front Slotted $285 for the pair

I am looking for RDA Slotted Rotors front and rear for my 95 VR Calais V8 with IRS. I am looking to put A1RM Pads at the front and HP-X's on the rear. I'm a bit if an agressive driver and wondering if this is a good setup for my car.
