    hey Greg,

Is this still the price for the VT Sedan? springs and shocks. Also the camber kit? (those prices are from 2007 so they may be old..)

It's a few bucks lower, but just work off $585 for front and rear shocks, rear springs and front bumpstops/boots.

Otherwise just front shocks would be $280 for the pair, plus shipping.

hey i found the old convo, its in ur other commodore lowerins package thread....

    hi,
was just wondering how much it would be go get some good shockers/struts for my car. the front springs are part number: KHFL-47 SSL King Springs.
and i want to change the rear springs, it sits up too high at the back. are there SSSL rear springs to fit a vz? or what would u recommend?

how much would it cost me to get some rear springs, and shortened shockers. and the front struts/shockers and bump stops?

    Thank-you in advance

    Hi mate,

The number I'd go in the back would be KHRL-46SLHD.

For KYB's dedicated 50mm shortened shocks, rears springs, and front bump stops would be $485, plus $10 shipping.

    Regards,
    Greg

I'd say I had a brain fart... I'm guessing I only included front struts in that price, not rear shocks as well. It would normally be alot more than that, but work off $585 plus shipping for the full set of shocks, rear springs, and front bump stops.

    Hey Greg,

I wanna lower my VR Executive (live axle) with the super low king springs (as well as lower shocks) but i want the car to sit level so its the same height front and back, i have been reading that if you put super lows on front and back that the back will be higher than the front. Is this true? cause i really like the look of the when the car is sitting at the same height front and back. if it is higher at the back would you reckon that ultra lows on the back and super lows on the front would level it out? or lows on front and super lows on the back, cause i want it to be legal aswell.

    Thanks

    Hi mate,

Yep, that's basically the guts of it. To get that 'level' look you go one spring lower in the back that the front, so as you say, is super low front, and ultra low rear. Unfortunately I can't tell you if ultra low on the back of your car is legal. Spring height doesn't change the price, so all up for springs and shocks you'd be looking at $660, plus about $15 shipping to you.

The other thing you may need to consider is a rear adjustable panhard rod, and these are $165 for a premium on-car adjustable Whiteline one.

    Hi mate,

A VN sedan is $575 for springs and shocks. Panhard rod is $165, and shipping is $25. All up would be $765 delivered.

    Hi mate,

Easiest way to figure out which springs to grab is to measure the centre of hub to guard measurement, let me know what it is, and how much lower you'd like to go from there.

    Hi mate,

Generally Super Low (50mm) and lower will need shortened shocks. I would highly recommend it, but you can get away without them. They are cheap enough though...

2 pairs of springs would be $270, plus about $10 shipping.

Shortened rear shocks are $65 each. Fronts will be fine.

    Hi Chris,

VR onwards was always a full strut. I can price up on the KYB, but they'll be fairly expensive because they don't yet make a 50mm shorter strut for the VZ, so we have to use VY shocks, with a sway bar link conversion kit for the front.

For your VZ Wagon, I'd recommend Boge, who do specific shocks for super low, and these are $145 each for the front, and $80 each for the rear.

    Regards,
    Greg

Shipping to ACT would be $15. Shocks and/or panhard rod will depend on how low you're going...

    Hi mate,

To get those heights will be Ultra low all round. Keep in mind that every application is different, and there's no way we could guarantee that it would be exactly the height you want, but ultra lows front and rear is the closest to your measurements according to King's hub-guard file.

For front and rear Kings Springs, and front and rear Boge shocks (our recommendation for the lowered ute) you're looking at $595, plus about $15 shipping.

    Regards,
    Greg
