Default EBC red stuff vs QFM A1RM

Would anyone be able to provide feedback on both the EBC red stuff vs QFM A1RM brake pads. I'm curious to know which one performs better. It will be going into a VZ SS that sees the track once every two months or so.
Appreciate if someone can provide some info. Thank you.

The A1RM by a fair amount. EBC's are an OK pad (we still sell them), but their friction co-ef is far too low to be considered a performance pad, and they don't bite particularly well from cold. I'd happily sell you a $200 EBC over a $119 A1RM, but having run them back to back in the rally car, it's the A1RM by a long way, in terms of both performance, and streetability.

On the street - Hard brake hits using the A1RM will pull your eyeballs out (VT commodore with slotted rotors, 235/45/17 Falken FK452's all round). Ive only hit them really hard 3 times in a row - im talking 0-100-20-160-50-140-0 in KPH, but they still pull your eyeballs out on the third stop.

In traffic, with cold brakes they are less easy to modulate, hot they are dynamite. Don't get me wrong - plenty of stopping power when cold, just not as much as hot.

I have not used the EBC's. In the past I've used Bendix Road Kings and Ferodo HI-Metal. Comparitively, they suck.

A1RM made my VN brakes (stock) last a track day, loved them.

This seems as good a place as any to put it.

I have the RDA Slotted front rotors and A1RM pad on my car and I'm just now getting some noise from them, this is TWO AND A BIT YEARS LATER! Never once have I machined the discs or done anything to the pads, this combo has lasted for ages. I clock up a decent amount of kilometres too, close to 500-600km a week, with all different traffic conditions, peak hour, highway and city, and never once have these pads failed to perform superbly. We all know how heavy these commodores are, but these pads would pull it up amazingly fast, way way better than my old Bendix pads. These pads performed great from the get-go but once they got a bit of heat behind them them were fantastic. I can't recommend these pads enough. Cheers Greg and the boys from GSLRallySport!

I have used both, the red pads needed a fair bit of braking with them before they felt comfortable. The A1RM felt comfortable straight away.
