Hi, first post, i have replaced gearboxes before(not on hodens though), but never an auto transmission. I was wanting to know is there any difference to replacing a manual box to an auto, and if so how is it different? Thx.

Well you have to remove the flex plate bolts.

Remove the starter motor and you will see the flex plate which has three bolts connecting it to the torque convertor. Turn the flexplate with a large screwdriver or prybar by putting the end in the teeth and levering it around and undo each bolt.

Also need to remove the trans cooler lines.
