If your power window switch won't always work, and requires a few presses before it actually works, then watch the video I made on how to fix that problem up.
It's pretty easy to follow, I shall all steps from taking the bottom part of the dash out, to taking the power window controls apart, and finishing by testing the switch after done work.
Hope someone can find some use with this.
Denno
lol breathing nice vid and interesting green paintjob

Great Video Denno, But my Drivers side window has stopped working all together. The 3 other windows work fine but not the drivers side one
Well I pulled out my switch and all is well but cleaned the contacts anyway but it still won't operate the window. I can however hear a clicking noise from behind the dash when I operate the switch.....Watch this space
Day two of this problem. A quick call and chat to mechanic at my local Holden dealer has put the problem down to the window regulator. I got one for NZ$ 135 bloody good deal I thought brand new with a 12 month warranty!! So again thanks to this forum I'm pulling off the door card today and doing the job myself. Watch this space !!
nice one mate.. was going to spend some dollas at holden for a new one, now it works fine
Its just a V6.....
Thanks for the video! I'm going to try it this afternoon on my VZ. Driver's window got the same problem... only it refuses to go down not up.
Edit: Aaaargh! Job's more complicated in the VZ. The switches consist of a sealed module each soldered onto the board. No way to get in without breaking the thing apart. Oh well... I'll just get one from the wreckers and fit it on myself.

I've been having the same problem with my VR. Would the same method apply to mine?
