VY/VZ Dash LED Conversion!

Due to alot of people contacting me about screwing up there own dash i have decided to remove this thread,

Sorry if this is of any inconvenience to anyone....

Nah, just kidding, nice work boys! The dials are fairly easy, from my knowledge the dials have LED's with 'coloured condoms' on them, simply remove the green condoms, colour them in with the texta colour of your choice and you're set to go Or just replace the lights with coloured ones.

cool thanks mate... cheers for the link, they have a heap of parts for my CNC plasma cutter on there too (SCORE!!) rekon you could look inot doing the head light and mode/set button?

do u have a vid of ur hidden shift light in action? the vid on the skyline looks dull and i wonder how it goes wen the dash lights r all on at the same time? so curious how urs turn out with lights on and off?

Milo is the one that came up with this idea, the guys in the YouTube video from the best of my understanding used his idea...

yeah i watched that vid but id have 2 say urs does look better than his tho, i know in person tells the real story but urs looks as if the red is clashing with the blue causing it 2 b that purple/pinky colour u mentioned? interesting none the less man its given me some ideas on somthing we can improve on 4 guys if they r interested going this far.

Yeah it is somewhat purple but the amount of leds counteract the blue, let us know how u go

Is there any reason not to change to white? The lenses arent tinted or anything like that are they? Pretty keen to do it.
